During my internship with Pivot Design, I worked on a five-week intern capstone project. The task was to create an unbranded Disease State Education campaign for Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA), a rare progressive neurological disorder. We worked through the process of a full campaign: presenting three concepts to the client, receiving feedback, and ultimately landing on a final direction. The direction selected was called “Face It Together”, a campaign centered around community, connection, and looking forward while battling a rare disease. I developed the idea of “The FAm,” a community hub where people living with FA, their families, and caregivers could find the resources they need when they need them most.
